My brain weaves its own spider web forming an intricate prison built from my deepest anxieties. The spider is not an external threat, but a version of myself, born from inner thoughts. This work reveals how nightmares can become the most perfect prisons, locking themselves within.
Inspired by Louise Bourgeois’s Maman, this work visualizes the inner self that designs its own anxiety and confinement. The spider, a self-portrait rather than a protector, reigns over a web woven from obsessive thoughts, while the brain faces the very trap it has created.
