A Round World and a Sharp Me (2025)

It is easy to want to live in a circular world of relationships without sharp edges. In the painting, my realistic face is the only imperfect element amid circles representing both the ideal order of relationships. This is a self-portrait that juxtaposes the reality of imperfection within the abstract ideal perfect world.
